Explain The Three Taboos Of Submersible Pumps

Any device has a lifespan, which is not only related to the quality and performance of the device itself, but also to the usage standards of everyone. If everyone does not use the equipment according to conventional requirements, the service life of the equipment will inevitably be shortened. Today, stainless steel pump manufacturers will introduce the three major taboos for using submersible pumps.

Reverse Rotation

Submersible pumps are divided into single stage pumps and multi-stage pumps. Generally speaking, single stage pumps have lower head, while multi-stage pumps have higher head. When using a single stage pump, it is recommended to distinguish the direction. Although submersible pumps can discharge water in both positive and negative directions, it is still recommended that everyone rotate forward and not reverse. Once reversed, it is possible to damage the motor winding. And to be honest, when the single stage submersible pump is in a reverse state, the water output is still relatively small, so it's better to rotate it forward. Additionally, it is a warm reminder that we hope everyone can carefully check the rotation direction of the single stage submersible pump before pumping it into the water. If it is abnormal, it should be adjusted in a timely manner. Only after it is normal can it be put into water.

Overload Operation

Whether it is people or equipment, as long as they work excessively, it will cause certain harm to themselves, and the same applies to stainless steel submersible pumps. As the editor mentioned earlier, the head of a single stage submersible pump is generally relatively small, so for those working areas that require high head submersible pumps, submersible pump single stage pumps cannot be used. If you insist on using a submersible single stage pump, you should pay attention during use to prevent the current value from exceeding the normal range and burning the equipment.

High Frequency Startup

Do you know? When turning off the single stage pump of the submersible pump, the pump will experience backflow. At this point, if everyone presses the start button to let the submersible pump work, it may cause damage to the motor, causing it to start with load. After the motor load starts, the starting current will become very high. To a certain extent, it will inevitably lead to various problems with the equipment. At the same time, shorten the lifespan of the equipment. So when using submersible pumps, everyone must not violate this taboo. According to common sense, if you want to start the submersible pump single stage pump again, it should be at least five minutes apart.
